Affidavit-of-service filed today be kept on record. The petitioners are aggrieved by non-consideration of a representation dated June 20, 2024 made by one Anil Kumar Saha who has been stated to be a representative of Local Commercial Vehicle Owners. The said Anil Kumar Saha is not a party to the writ petition. However, the petitioners have in paragraph 7 of the writ petition stated that the said Anil Kumar Saha had written a letter dated October 18, 2022 to the Project Director, National Highway Authority of India as a representative of Vehicle Owners and the petitioners.

There is nothing on record to show that the letter dated June 20, 2024 (a direction for consideration whereof has been prayed for) was written by the said Anil Kumar Das on behalf of the writ petitioner. In

such view of the matter this writ petition cannot be entertained. The Court cannot grant an order of consideration of a representation made by a person other than the writ petitioner unless such person is demonstrated to have made the representation in the interest of the writ petitioner and upon being authorised by the writ petitioner in such regard. The writ petition is, therefore, disposed of with the observation that the petitioners shall be free to make appropriate representation before the Appropriate Authority for redressal of their grievances in accordance with law.

WPA 28389 of 2024, stands disposed of.
