Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the applicant submits as follows. By a judgment dated 10.12.2024 in WPA 16929 of 2024, the schools authorities were directed to transmit the relevant records, as was mentioned to the DI within seven days from that date. Thereafter, the DI was directed to take appropriate steps to process the matter and sent the file to the DPPG for issuance of the PPO. The entire exercise on the part of the DI was to be completed within a month from receiving the necessary documents. The DPPG was thereafter required to act on the file sent by the DI expeditiously and in accordance with law. Although some of the above referred proposed acts were complied with by the respondent authorities and pension was paid to the petitioner, the arrear salary has not yet been released. It appears from the report of the DI that the respondents would be dealing with the issue of payments of arrear
salary and pensionary benefit in favour of the petitioner. However, only the pensionary part has been dealt with and not the issue of arrear salary.

It appears from the order passed that after the different respondent authorities did their part, the DPPG was required to act on the file sent by the DI expeditiously. There is no mention about whether, apart from pension, the issue of arrear salary was also to be dealt with.

It appears that the applicant can fairly raise the issue of payment of arrear salary before the appropriate forum.

However, no further order need be passed in this application.

The application is thus disposed of without any further order, even as to costs.
