It is submitted by counsel for the parties that since after the order dated 29th August, 2023 Pension Payment Order has been issued in favour of the petitioner on 30.01.2024, who is the unmarried daughter. Arrears of pension have also been paid. 2.

Let interest at the rate of 5 per cent per annum be paid on such arrears to the petitioner within two months from date.

The writ petition is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.
