Petitioner expresses apprehension in the writ petition for conducting the annual programme at the schedule location referred to in the writ petition. Learned advocate for the State has submitted a report. Report reflects that the police authorities have no objection if the annual programme is conducting on 1st December, 2024 peacefully at the same and identical place where it was conducted in the previous year.

Since the police authorities have no objection, the apprehension of the petitioner is diluted. Petitioner would abide by the terms imposed by the Officer-in-Charge, Dum Dum Police Station

who has authored the report submitted on behalf of the State.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 28273 of 2024 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

Report submitted by the learned advocate appearing for the State be kept with the record. A copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing on behalf of the petitioner.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
