Mr. Abhishek Banerjee Ms. Payel Ghosh ... ... for the petitioners Ms. Jhuma Chakraborty ... ... for the State The present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking appropriate direction against respondent no. 2 to dispose of the application filed by the petitioner under Section 14 of the Securitization and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security Interest Act (SARFAESI Act), 2002.

Learned counsel for the petitioner states that at this stage he shall be satisfied if his pending application is decided by the respondent no. 2 in a time bound manner.

Learned counsel for the State submits that she has no objection if a direction is passed against the respondent no. 2 to decide the said pending application of the petitioner within a period of eight weeks.

In view of the consent given by the learned counsel for the respondent no. 2 that they shall dispose of the petitioner's pending application within a period of eight weeks, the petitioner is not inclined to press the present writ petition.

In view of the concession made by the learned counsel for the respondent no. 2, the grievance of the petitioner is redressed. The respondent no. 2 shall decide the pending application of the petitioner within a period of eight weeks.

The present writ petition is disposed of in the above terms.

Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
