Mr. Abhishek Banerjee ... for the petitioners Mr. Ansar Mondal, Mr. Asish Dutta, Ms. Somashree Dey ... for the State The present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking appropriate direction against respondent No.2 to dispose of the application filed by the petitioner under Section 14 of the Securitization and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security Interest Act (SARFAESI Act), 2002.

Learned counsel for the petitioner states that at this stage he shall be satisfied if his pending application is decided by the respondent no.2 in a time bound manner.

Learned counsel for the respondent/State submits that she has no objection if a direction is passed against the respondent no.2 to decide the said pending application of the petitioner within a period of 8 weeks.

In view of the consent given by the learned counsel for the respondent no.2 that they shall dispose of the petitioner's pending application within a period of 8 weeks, the petitioner is not inclined to press the present writ petition.

In view of the concession made by the learned counsel for the respondent No.2, the grievance of the petitioner is redressed. Respondent No.2 shall decide the pending application of the petitioner within a period of 8 weeks.

The present writ petition is disposed off in the above terms.
