The victim apparently, committed suicide at her matrimonial home within two and half years of marriage leaving behind four months baby.

Parents of the victim implicate the petitioner no.1, namely, Sabita Patra in torturing the victim and demanding dowry from them.

Considering the gravity of the offence and involvement of the petitioner no.1 in the incident, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to her.

This application for anticipatory bail in respect of petitioner no.1, namely, Sabita Patra is, thus, rejected. CRM(A) 5418 of 2023 is disposed of.
