The Block Development Office (BDO), Garhbeta-I Development Block, Garhbeta, Paschim Medinipur has filed a report dated February 7, 2024, which is taken on record.

It appears that for the period that the petitioner was engaged by the Block Development Office (BDO), Garhbeta-I Development Block from May to August 2021, steps shall be taken to release payment to the petitioner.

It is ordered that the Block Development Office (BDO), Garhbeta-I Development Block, Garhbeta, Paschim Medinipur shall release such payment to the petitioner mandatorily and positively within a period

of 10 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

In so far as the service of the petitoner from August 2021 till January 31, 2023, the Pradhan of the Garhbeta Gram Panchayat shall make all payments to the petitioner, without any demur or delay mandatorily and positively within a period of 10 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

The Pradhan himself has issued the work certificate in favour of the petitioner.

With the aforesaid directions, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all formalities.
