Submission of learned counsel for the petitioners is that the water is arsenic in that area, therefore a drinking water supply project was inaugurated in the village but subsequently it has been shifted to another village. Therefore, no solution to the problem of the residents of the village concerned is now available.

At this stage learned counsel for the petitioners has made a limited prayer that the petitioners be permitted to file a detailed representation before the respondent No.2, the Chief Engineer, Department of Public Health Engineering and a direction be issued to the respondent No.2 to consider the petitioners' grievance and decide the representation within a time bound period.

WPA 29440 of 2017 Learned counsel for the State has no objection to the same.

Hence, the present writ petition is disposed of by granting liberty to the petitioners to file a detailed comprehensive representation before the respondent No.2. On filing such a representation the respondent No.2 will duly look into the grievance of the petitioners and take an appropriate decision in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of the representation.

The petition is accordingly disposed of.
