None appears for the petitioner at the time of call. No accommodation has been sought for either. This is a writ petition of the year 2007 praying for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents to allow the petitioner to sit for the interview for appointment for the post of Class - IV Staff in a high school, which was scheduled to be held on December 6, 2007 or on a subsequent date.

It appears from record that by an order dated December 6, 2007, the petitioner was allowed to participate in the said interview. Due to passage of time, nothing survives to be decided in this writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of.

There shall be, however, no order as to costs. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be furnished to the parties expeditiously upon compliance of all legal formalities.
