Petitioner is directed to serve a copy of the revisional application upon Mr. Anindya Sundar Chatterjee, learned advocate, who ordinarily appears on behalf of the State. His appointment may be regularized by the concerned Authorities in due course.

The subject matter of the case relates to Rajnagar Police Station Case No. 67 of 2023 dated 17-09-2023 under Sections 341/354/506/509 IPC and Section 3(r)(w)(I)/(w)(ii) of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 which is pending before the learned special court, Suri, Birbhum.

The learned special court after submission of chargesheet has directed for appearance of the accused. Notice has been issued accordingly. As such, if the petitioner appears and the detention is unwarranted in view of the investigation being completed, the learned trial court in spirit of the judgements reported in the order dated 17th November, 2023 will decide his application for bail if prayed for in accordance with law.

With the aforesaid observations, the revisional application being CRR 4629 of 2023 is disposed of.
