Petitioner prays for anticipatory bail.

Petitioner before us is an ex-employee of a bank. Apparently, the petitioner visited a customer, convinced the customer to part with the ATM card along with the PIN number for the purpose of updating the KYC. The petitioner thereafter transferred a sum in excess of Rs.2 lacs.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner in the incident, we are unable to grant anticipatory bal to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.

C.R.M. (A) 5917 of 2022 is dismissed.
