The petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that the ex-husband of the petitioner with whom the petitioner enjoyed a relationship for ten years drove her out along with her son and subsequently also drove out the mother and the grandmother of the petitioner. To that effect, information was furnished with Haroa Police Station on or about 26.09.2023, but no steps have been taken by the said police station.

State has submitted a report which reflects that having regard to the nature of the dispute, police authorities at the relevant point of time drew up proceedings under Section 107 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

In view of the petitioner's anxiety being that she has been dispossessed along with her son and all the relations at the behest of the private respondent no.5, severe inconvenience is faced by her and since substantial time has passed in the meantime, I am of the view that if inconveniences are faced by the petitioner, petitioner would be at liberty to approach the concerned police station

ventilating her grievance. Police authorities would assess the accusations freshly made and take steps in accordance with law.

The report which was earlier placed before this Court be retained along with the records. With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 27007 of 2023 is disposed of. Pending connected application, if any, is consequently disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
