1. Writ petition was filed inter alia praying for registration of FIR against officers of correctional home alleging custodial violence.

2. The learned single Judge of this Court allowed the prayer. FIR has also been registered. Prayer for bail has also been made in the writ petition.

3. In view of existence of statutory remedy under Section 439 Cr.P.C. we are of the opinion petition is not maintainable so far bail prayer is concerned.

4. However, liberty is given to the petitioner to approach this Court by filing a proper bail application in accordance with law.

5. With this observation, the writ petition is disposed of.
