The petitioner's father who expired on 29.09.2020 was working in the office of Sub-Inspector of Schools. His son, the petitioner has filed an application for compassionate appointment on 02.03.2022.

Therefore, it cannot be said that it is a delayed application. It has been made within two years from the date of expiry of his father.

I direct the District Inspector of Schools (P.E.) to take all steps required for considering the application of the petitioner and I also direct the said District Inspector of Schools to give an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner so that his application for compassionate appointment can be sent to other required Departments immediately after hearing the petitioner.

With this observation and direction, this writ application is disposed of.
