The report dated 11th January, 2024 which was filed by the Investigating Officer, Burtolla PS before the learned ACMM, Calcutta in connection with Burotolla P. S. Case No. 117 dated 07-07-2023 is taken into account along with report so submitted today before this court by Mr. Beg, learned advocate appearing on behalf of the State. Let the memorandum of evidence submitted by the learned advocate for the State be kept with the record.

Primarily it reflects that a male gold neck chain is in issue. So far as the petitioners are concerned, they are apprehensive of the fact that if the lockers are opened, in that case it may be that further claims are made in respect of materials kept in the locker. Accordingly, the Investigating Officer is directed to make an inventory in respect of the materials available in two lockers and inform the learned ACMM, Calcutta. If the male gold neck chain is a part of the inventory, the learned ACMM, Calcutta will pass a necessary direction upon the parties to release the same on bond in favour of the complainant/opposite party. With the aforesaid observations, the revisional application being CRR 4636 of 2023 is disposed of.
