The petitioners are confirmed Assistant Teachers of two different primary schools under DPSC, Paschim Bardhaman, they are praying intradistrict mutual transfer. The representations of the petitioners to the said effect are pending consideration before the Chairman of the said Council, the respondent no.7 herein, the said representations, dated October 23, 2024, collectively forms part of the writ petition being Annexure-P/3, The respondent no. 7 is directed to consider and dispose of the said representations expeditiously in accordance with law, preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of communication of this order.

In the event, it is found that the learning process of the students of the respective schools of the petitioners would not be affected, if the prayer of the petitioners is allowed, then the respondent no.7 shall take forward steps for mutual transfer of the petitioners expeditiously.

WPA 28494 of 2024 is thus disposed of without any order as to costs.

No affidavit since has been invited, the allegations made in the writ petition are deemed to have been denied by the respondents.
