Mr. Sudipta Dasgupta Mr. Sandwip Sutradhar ... for the petitioners Mr. Pritam Chowdhury ... for the D.P.S.C., Paschim Bardhaman Mr. Pinaki Dhole Mr. Avishek Prasad ... for the State Petitioners are working as primary teachers in their respective schools situate in same district being Paschim Bardhaman.

It is submitted that both the petitioners are confirmed primary teachers and they have made application seeking mutual transfer.

The grievance of the petitioners is though application is pending before the Chairman, District Primary School Council, Paschim Bardhaman being respondent no.6 but till date no decision is taken. State respondent is represented by learned advocates.

On consideration of the submissions made on behalf of the parties it appears that mutual transfer application by the petitioners are pending before the respondent no.6.

Hence, respondent no.6 is directed to take decision on mutual transfer application of the petitioners in accordance with law by six weeks from the date of communication of this order and the decision shall be communicated to the parties by fortnight thereafter.

Writ petition stands disposed of.

However, there shall be no order as to costs. Urgent photostat certified copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties, upon usual undertakings.
