Report dated 02.01.2023 submitted by Mr. Imam, learned advocate appearing for the State be kept on record. Report reflects that charge has already been framed and on 04.01.2023 date has been fixed for recording evidence of the complainant. The petitioner was arrested on 27.10.2021 and is in custody for more than 14 months. The learned Special Court is directed that the evidence of the complainant, CSW-2 and CSW-3 being the victim girl be completed by 15.01.2023. No adjournment should be granted to any of the parties.

The prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected for the present.

The petitioner is granted leave to prefer an application for renewing the prayer for bail after the evidence of CSW-3/victim girl is over.

Accordingly, the application for bail, being CRM (SB) 297 of 2022, is disposed of.
