The petitioners are the confirmed Assistant Teachers of different schools under the D.P.S.C., 24 Parganas (North), the respondent no. 5 herein, they are praying for mutual transfer. The petitioner no. 1 is an Assistant Teacher of Koyra Chitta Basu F.P. School, under Duttapukur Circle, whereas the petitioner no. 2 is an Assistant Teacher of Karola Jagneswar F.P. School, under Gaighata Circle of the said council.

The applications of the petitioners for mutual transfer, both dated October 01, 2024 forms part of the writ petition being Annexure - 'P3'collectively.

The Chairman of the said Council, the respondent no. 6 herein, is directed to consider and dispose of the said applications of the petitioners expeditiously in accordance with law, preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of communication of this order.

W.P.A. 28508 of 2024 is disposed of with the above terms without any order as to costs.
