...... petitioners Mr. Mukteswar Maity, Ms. Nupur Chaudhuri ....for the petitioners Mr. Sudip Ghosh, Mr. Palsh Ch Maghi ....for the State In an incident of assault, insured suffered severe injuries. Doctor treating such injured could smell chilli powder from the body of the injured.

Apparently, chilli powder was also thrown and according to the injured on her private parts.

Considering such injuries inflicted and the nature of the materials used in the incident of assault by the petitioners, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to them. This application for anticipatory bail is, thus, rejected. CRM(A) 5561 of 2023 is disposed of.
