Mr. Pratip Kumar Chatterjee Mr. Asish Deb Mr. Ranjit Mondal Ms. Maitrayee Chatterjee ......for the petitioner Mr. Dipanjan Datta Ms. Sukanya Datta .....for the State In spite of order dated 7th January, 2025 petitioner did not appear before the District Inspector of Schools (SE), South 24 Parganas on 14th January, 2025 at 4 p.m. which could have enabled the concerned District Inspector of Schools to take necessary steps in order to reduce burden fastened upon the petitioner being single teacher in the school which is junior high school having four units.

It is submitted by learned advocate representing the petitioner that though petitioner could not appear before the concerned District Inspector of Schools on the fixed date and time in terms of order dated 7th January,

2025 but a representation has been made to the concerned District Inspector of Schools for taking necessary steps.

If representation has been made by the petitioner instead of appearing before the District Inspector of Schools, let such representation be considered by the District Inspector of Schools (SE), South 24 Parganas being respondent no. 4 by four weeks from the date of communication of this order. Respondent no. 4 shall take a decision which is to be communicated to the petitioner.

With the above observations and direction, writ petition stands disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on usual undertaking.
