The petitioner alleges that he is being threatened by the local goons over the issue of raising a boundary wall over his property. The petitioner lodged complaint before the police authority which has not been acted upon. It appears from the report submitted by the State that there is a long pending land dispute between the petitioner and the local people and pursuant to the complaint filed by the petitioner, police held enquiry and submitted prosecution under Section 107/106(C) of the Code of Criminal Procedure on October 20, 2023. The allegation raised by the petitioner needs to be adjudicated by the appropriate forum. The petitioner is at liberty to approach the appropriate forum for redressal of his grievance.

In the meantime the police authority shall keep strict vigil in the area in order to avoid any untoward incident and to ensure maintenance of peace and tranquility.

The writ petition is disposed of.

There shall, however, be no order as to costs. Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the writ petition are deemed not to have been admitted.
