Since the petitioner seeks expeditious disposal of C Case No.246 of 2022 pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Court, Sealdah, the matter may be taken up for consideration without service of notice upon the opposite parties.

The opposite parties shall not be prejudiced by an order directing expeditious disposal of the case. This Court is informed that the petitioner intends to examine two witnesses out of whom examination of PW 1 is in progress.

In view of the above, the learned trial Court is directed to take the proceeding to its logical conclusion within one year from the next date of hearing fixed before him, without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties, in accordance with law. The revisional application being CRR 5044 of 2024 is disposed of.

Urgent certified website copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties on compliance of requisite formalities.
