Petitioner is in custody for more than seven years. He submits there is inordinate delay in trial. He prays for bail. 2.
Learned Advocate for NCB opposes the bail prayer. He submits date has been fixed for arguments.

We have considered the materials on record. In view of the matured stage of the proceeding, we do not consider it prudent to enlarge the petitioner on bail.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.

We request the Trial Court to dispose of the trial positively within four months from the next date fixed before it without granting unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.

Parties shall communicate this order to the Trial Court for due compliance.
