Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner has prayed for expeditious disposal of Complaint Case No.C/4108 of 2011 pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate, 6th Court, Alipore. Learned advocate submits that the evidence before the charge is almost at the verge of conclusion.

The complainant/petitioner is directed to complete the evidence before charge on the next date so fixed or within a month thereafter.

It has been informed that the next date is fixed on 20th April, 2024.

Accordingly, by the last week of May, 2024 the learned trial court would give opportunities to the complainant to complete his evidence before charge. Within 45 days thereafter the learned trial court would fix a date for the charges. Learned trial court if after consideration of the charges is of the opinion that evidence after charge is required to be proceeded, then in that case, the learned trial court would fix one date in a month for the purpose of the present case so that the trial of the case can be taken to its

logical conclusion within a reasonable period of time, keeping in mind that the case was initiated in the year 2011. All efforts be taken by the learned trial court so that the evidence after charge is concluded by 31st March, 2025 and rest of the procedure including the pronouncement of the verdict be concluded by 30th June, 2025. With the aforesaid observations, CRR 4648 of 2023 is disposed of.

Pending connected application, if any, is consequently disposed of.
