Heard the learned advocate for the petitioner and the learned State advocate.

The learned advocate for the applicant/writ petitioner submits that the petitioner has been served with a Pension Payment Order (P.P.O.), issued by the office of the Accountant General, wherein the petitioner's pension has been sanctioned in the due/claimed pay level 14. The substantial grievance raised in the Original Application, therefore, has become infructuous and does not survive any more.

A copy of the P.P.O. No. 112632615 dated 19.03.2026 is taken on record.

In view of such circumstances, pendency of the present Writ Petition and Original Application No. of before the West Bengal Administrative Tribunal would serve no useful purpose.

The present Writ Petition and the Original Application bearing O.A. No. 394 of 2025 is accordingly disposed of.
