Versus
The State of West Bengal Mr. Kallol Guha Thakurata Mr. Md. Wasim Rahaman Mr. Dipankar Dutta.

Mr. Bitashok Banerjee Mr. Karan Bapuli.
...for the State.
Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since August, 2025, charge-sheet has been submitted, charges have been framed and witness action has already been commenced.
Learned advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail.
I have taken into account the statement of the witnesses as also the postmortem report.
Having considered the overall circumstances which include the period of detention and the materials which have transpired, I am of the view that further detention of the petitioner is unwarranted. As such, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is allowed. The petitioner, namely, Sourav Ghosh shall be released on
bail upon furnishing bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand only) with two sureties of Rs.10,000/- each, one of whom must be local to the satisfaction of the learned ACJM, Nabadwip, Nadia. If on bail, the petitioner shall be physically present on each and every date fixed before the learned trial court and shall not leave the district of Nadia till further orders of this Court.
Accordingly, CRM(M) 2667 of 2025 is allowed.
All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
