Mr. Ashim Kumar Halder Mr. Pradip Kumar Neogi Mr. Anirban Saha ...for the Petitioner Mr. Sunit Kumar Roy ...for W.B.C.S.S.C Mrs. Jhuma Chakraborty (VC) Ms. Munmun Tewary ...for the State Ms. Koyeli Bhattacharyya Mr. Bibek Dutta ...for W.B.B.S.E In terms of the order dated 7th January, 2025, District Inspector of Schools (S.E.), Paschim Medinipur being respondent no.7 has filed a report in the form of affidavit affirmed on 24th January, 2025 wherefrom it appears that a post of Assistant Teacher in English in normal section in Gurguripal High School, Paschim Medinipur is lying vacant with effect from 2nd June, 2023 due to death of Prolay Kumar Biswas, Assistant Headmaster on 1st June, 2023.

In view of the statements made in paragraph 3 of the report, it appears there is no impediment in directing the concerned authority of West Bengal Central School Service Commission to re-recommend the petitioner to the post of Assistant Teacher in English in normal section in Gurguripal High School, Paschim Medinipur.

Concerned authority of the West Bengal Central School Service Commission is directed to re-recommend the petitioner to the post of Assistant Teacher in English in normal section in Gurguripal High School, Paschim Medinipur by fortnight from the date of communication of this order.

After issuance of re-recommendation memo, West Bengal Board of Secondary Education shall take steps to issue transfer order in favour of the petitioner thereby permitting the petitioner to join the aforesaid post.

With the above directions, writ petition stands disposed of.

Urgent photostat certified copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties, upon usual undertakings.
