1. Leave is granted to amend the cause title.

2. Report filed on behalf of the State is taken on record.

3. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits as follows. As the alleged victim had molested a minor girl, a mob assaulted him. The petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case.

4. Learned counsel appearing for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail. She relies on the statements of the witnesses and the injury report. However, the statement of the victim could not be recorded as he was taken into custody in connection with the other case. Charge-sheet has been submitted.

5. Considering the nature of allegations, the materials available in the case diary, the absence of the victim's statement and the fact that charge-sheet has been

submitted, I do not think that custodial interrogation of the petitioner is required in this case and I am inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

6. In the event of arrest, the petitioner shall be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.10,000/- each with two sureties of like amount each, one of whom must be local, to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer and also be subject to further conditions that the petitioner shall not threaten or intimidate the witnesses. The petitioner shall surrender before the learned jurisdictional Court and pray for bail within four weeks from date and shall attend the Court regularly.

7. Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail is allowed.

8. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance with requisite formalities.
