The present revisional application has been filed with prayer for transfer of Bakultala PS Case No. 7 dated 05-01-2020. I find that the Investigating Agency on conclusion of Investigation has submitted chargesheet. All the witnesses relied upon are from the District of Howrah. However, the case is pending before the learned A.C.J.M, Baruipur. Petitioner has prayed for transfer of the said case to any other court at Birbhum. The prayers so advanced for transfer are for old age and care to be given to the minor grand daughter who is suffering from mental illness. Having regard to the reasons so assigned and the prejudice which may be caused by such transfer because of the list of the witnesses, I am of the view that no interference can be made in respect of the prayer for transfer. Petitioner would be at liberty to apply for dispensing with personal appearance under Section 205 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

With the aforesaid observations, the revisional application being CRR 4663 of 2023 is disposed of.

Pending applications, if any, are consequently disposed

of.
