Mr. Mitra, learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that this writ petition was preferred challenging illegality of the selection process initiated in 2012. During pendency of the writ petition the writ petitioner has already promoted to the post of Officer Junior Management (Scale - I). Hence, the writ petition has become infructuous.

Mr. Ghosal, learned advocate appearing for the Bank did not oppose to such submission made by Mr. Mitra.

In view thereof, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous.

Interim order, if any, stands vacated.

There shall, however, be no order as to costs. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties, upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
