Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits the petitioner was arrested on the accusation of the recovery of 1400 bottles of phensydyl, since then the petitioner is in custody for one year and ten days.

Learned advocate appearing for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that the charge sheet has already been submitted and State is taking steps for progress of the trial of the case.

State is directed to complete the trial of the case within a reasonable time period.

The petitioner will be at liberty to renew his prayer for bail after the evidence of the seizure list witnesses is over.

Having considered the stage of the case, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail. As such, the prayer for bail of the petitioner being CRM (NDPS) 1614 of 2025 is dismissed at this stage.
