Affidavit of service filed by the petitioner is taken on record.

None appears for the private respondent despite service.

The grievance of the petitioner is two fold:- First, the private respondent who was inducted as a licensee in the property in question by the predecessor in interest of the petitioner has been continuing to occupy the same even after expiry of such license.

Second, complaint lodged by the petitioner before the police authority has not been taken care of.

Learned counsel for the State submits that the complaint lodged by the petitioner has been registered as FIR and charge sheet has been submitted upon completion of investigation.

Upon consideration of the submission made on behalf of the parties, this Court is of the view that in the event the petitioner is aggrieved by the charge sheet or the mode and manner of investigation, he is at liberty to approach the appropriate forum for redressal of his

grievance. Also, since the petitioner seeks eviction of the private respondent from the property in question, he ought to take steps before the appropriate civil Court. With the above observation and direction, the writ petition is disposed of.

There shall however, be no order as to costs. Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the petition are deemed not to have been admitted. Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
