Ms. Jonaki Saha ....for the State Petitioner prays for anticipatory bail.

Police rescued the victim in injured condition. Such injured although, did not name the petitioner described the person who assaulted him.

The injured ultimately expired.

Subsequent investigation revealed that, petitioner was involved in the incident of murder.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner in the incident, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

This application for anticipatory bail is, thus, rejected. CRM(A) 5404 of 2023 is disposed of.
