For the Petitioner The petitioner has assailed the order passed by the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Howrah pm 10th September, 2024 in G.R. case no. 5789 of 2022 directing issuance of warrant of arrest against him.

The petitioner was granted bail by Hon'ble Division Bench of this Court on 10th January, 2023 in CRM (DB) of 71 of 2023 and appeared before the Court regularly. The petitioner failed to appear before the learned Magistrate on 10th September, 2024 for which warrant of arrest was issued against him on the said date. The petitioner undertakes to surrender before the learned Magistrate within two weeks from date and pray for bail.

If the petitioner surrenders before the learned Magistrate within two weeks from date and pray for bail, the learned Magistrate shall deal with the said application in accordance with law. In the event the petitioner fails to appear before the learned Magistrate within the stipulated time frame, learned Magistrate shall be at liberty to take necessary steps against the petitioner, in accordance with law without reference to this Court.

Warrant of arrest be stayed till 18th December, 2024. CRR 5057 of 2024 is disposed of.
