The petitioners pray for implementation of the order passed by the Director of Cooperative Audit vide Memo No. 3176/1(3)DA dated November 25, 2019. By the said order the Director of Cooperative Audit directed for completion of re-audit of the Housing Society. The same has not been done till date. There are several other issues raised by the petitioner in the instant writ petition.
Without going into the merits of the same as it appears that the re-audit as directed to be conducted way back in 2019 has not been completed till date, accordingly, the Director of Cooperative Audit being the
respondent no. 6 herein is directed to take prompt necessary steps to ensure that the order for re-audit is complied with strictly in accordance with law at the earliest but positively within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of this order. Reasonable opportunity of hearing shall be granted to all the necessary parties at the time of conducting the re-audit.
All parties are directed to cooperate with the Director of Cooperative Audit with all documents so that the re-audit can be concluded within the time specified hereinabove.
Be it recorded that the petitioners are not pressing the prayer (a) at this stage.
The writ petition stands disposed of.
Affidavit-of-service filed in Court today is taken on record.
Urgent certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
