Petitioner submits he is a former employee in a liquor shop. He had resigned from the employment and thereafter he has been falsely implicated. He prays for anticipatory bail. 2.

Learned Advocate for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail and contends petitioner and other employees have failed to account for cash and stock to the tune of Rs.1,62,590/-.

We have considered the materials on record. Petitioner was employed in the de facto complainant's firm which was dealing in liquor. It is contended petitioner and others had not accounted for cash and stock over Rs.1.5 lakhs. However, petitioner has cooperated with investigation and responded to notices under Section 35(3) of BNSS, 2023.

In view of the aforesaid facts which disclose an issue of settlement of accounts between employer and employee and as Signed By :

petitioner has co-operated with investigation, we are of the opinion custodial interrogation of the petitioner is not necessary and he may be granted anticipatory bail.

Accordingly, we direct that in the event of arrest, the petitioner viz., Pradeep Dash @ Pradeep Kumar Dash be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.10,000/-, with two sureties of like amount each, to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer and also subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 482(2) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 and on further condition petitioner while on bail shall meet the investigating officer once in a week until further orders. He shall appear before the jurisdictional court and pray for regular bail within four weeks from date.
