Pursuant to the earlier direction on 30.01.2025 Mr. Basu Mallick, learned advocate appearing on behalf of the State has submitted a report. Report reflects that in connection with Hanskhali Police Station Case No. 126/1999 the Investigating Authorities on conclusion of investigation submitted final report as mistake of fact vide Hanskhali Police Station F.R.M.F. No. 78/03 dated 18.06.2023 as the police authorities in spite of their efforts could not obtain any substantial evidence.

Petitioner has approached this court after 20 years, the final report having been filed, no interference is called for, as such WPA 27188 of 2023 is disposed of.

Report so submitted be kept with the record.

A copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
