By this application, the petitioner/father prays for expeditious disposal of an application seeking interim visitation of his minor child. The proceedings are pending before the learned Additional District Judge, Fast Track 4th Court at Barrackpore, North 24 Parganas.

It is submitted that the next date has been fixed sometime in May, 2024. It is further submitted that objection to the said application has already been filed by the mother. Considering the submissions, this Court is of the view that the prayer of the petitioner is innocuous. Neither party stands to lose if a proceeding is disposed of expeditiously. In fact, such expeditious disposal shall enure to the benefit of the parties.

Under such circumstances, this Court is of the view that the application for interim visitation should be disposed of expeditiously. The parties are at liberty to file a put up application seeking preponement of the date. The learned court shall fix a date before May 2024 and dispose of the said application within a month from such date.

This court has neither expressed any opinion on the merits of the misc. case nor on the merits of the application. The learned court shall proceed independently and in accordance with law.

The revisional application is accordingly disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
