The petitioner was a candidate in the 1st SLST, 2016. She participated in the 2nd SLST, 2025 and claims to be an untainted appointee of the 2016 recruitment process. Her candidature has been rejected on account of overage. She is aggrieved by the same.

Learned senior counsel appearing for the West Bengal Central School Service Commission submits, upon instructions, that the rejection was erroneous. He asserts that the Commission will rectify the mistake and permit the petitioner to appear in the interview scheduled on December 16, 2025.

In view of the submission that the rejection of the petitioner's candidature was erroneous and the Commission will permit the petitioner to appear in the upcoming interview, accordingly, no useful

purpose would be served by keeping the writ petition pending. The same stands disposed of. 4.

The intimation letter of the petitioner for appearing in the interview shall be uploaded in the official website of the Commission, if not already done.

All parties are to act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Certified copy of this order, if applied for, shall be made available to the parties.
