Petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that inspite of the order dated 20.09.2024 passed in WPA 23566 of 2024 and the consequent order passed by the SubDivisional Officer, Baruipur on 26.09.2024, no action has been taken by the police authorities. There is no complaint from the SDO that for non-cooperation of the police authorities, the demolition work could not have been completed.

Petitioner complains that inspite of informing the Superintendent of Police, Baruipur and the Officer-in-Charge, Bokultala Police Station no action has been taken.

I find from the order passed by the SubDivisional Officer, the said order was restricted for identifying the construction designed as 'A', 'B', 'C' but the Junior Engineer submitted one written deposition on the day to the BDO, Joynagar II that he could not identify those marked 'A', 'B', 'C' building. In view of the nature of the order dated 26.09.2024 I am of the opinion police authorities have no role to play.

Accordingly, WPA 28601 of is dismissed.
