The petitioner has preferred this revisional application for expeditious disposal of Misc. Crl. Case No. 434 of 2021 pending before learned Judicial Magistrate, 2nd Court, Krishnagar, Nadia. The petitioner is the husband and submits that unnecessarily the case is being dragged. The records reflect that the evidence of PW-1 has already commenced and the prayer for interim maintenance is also pending. Having regard to the fact that the case was filed in the year 2021, the learned trial court would take efforts so that the purpose for which the provisions of Section of the Code of Criminal Procedure have been incorporated under the Act are justified. For the said purpose, the learned trial court would be at liberty to expedite the progress of the case and grant such remedies as are available under the law.

With the aforesaid observations, the revisional application being CRR 4668 of 2023 is disposed of. Pending connected application, if any, is consequently disposed of.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
