The writ petition was filed challenging the illegal construction made at Touzi No. 160 to 162, J.L. No. 14, RS No.188, previous Khatian Nos. 622 and 559, previous Dag Nos. 1359, 667, 1422 and 1360, recent Dag Nos. 1453 and 1454 under Ward No. 13 of the Bidhannagar Municipal Corporation.

As the petitioner has expressed his intention not to proceed with the writ petition any further, accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed as 'not pressed'.

Dismissal of the writ petition will not stand in the way of the BMC to take steps against any unauthorized construction at the subject premises.

The written communication of the petitioner to the learned advocate be retained with the records.

Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
