This contempt proceedings was set to motion by issuance of a petition was issued suo moto rule. The rule issued on 12th November, 2008 was subsequently discharged on 26th November, 2008.

The writ petitioner also shown as contempt petitioner remained unrepresented on all previous occasions when the matter was taken up and as such, the matter was set down in the list marked as "Last Chance". The petitioner remains unrepresented even today. No one has applied on behalf of the petitioner to join on virtual mode.

The petitioner appears to be no more interested to proceed with the contempt proceeding any further. The contempt proceedings are dropped. The contempt petition is disposed of without any further orders. Rule, if any, stands discharged.
