1. Learned counsel for the petitioner, upon having taken instruction, submits that the petitioner has been released from custody on December 12, 2023.

2. A written certificate to that effect is handed over in Court by learned counsel for the State, which has been issued by the Superintendent, Lalgola Open Air Correctional Home. Let the said certificate be kept on record.

3. Since the purpose of the writ petition is thus served, WPA No. 27270 of 2023 is disposed of as infructuous.

4. There will be no order as to costs.
