The petitioner alleges inaction on the part of the police in taking steps for proper enquiry of the complaint lodged by the petitioner.

It appears from the report filed by the Inspectorin-Charge, Egra Police Station signed on May 9, 2024 that Egra P.S. Case No. 188/ 2024, dated March 25, 2024 u/ss 447/323/506/34 IPC has been registered in response to the complaint lodged by the petitioner. After completion of the investigation, charge-sheet being Egra Police Station C.S. No. 165 of 2024 dated March 31, 2024 has been filed.

The petitioner is dissatisfied with the charge-sheet that has been filed. It has been submitted that proper provision of law has not been invoked.

As it appears that charge-sheet has already been filed, it will be open for the petitioner to approach the learned Court where the matter is pending for necessary relief.

The writ petition stands disposed of.

Since the writ petition is disposed of without calling for any affidavit, the allegations made therein are deemed not to have been admitted by the parties. Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
