1. Petitioners submit there was a dispute between the parties. Out of depression victim tried to commit suicide. They pray for anticipatory bail.

2. Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer.

3. We have considered the materials on record including the note written by the victim. From the note it appears that petitioner no. 1 had made insinuations against the victim. As a result, she tried to commit suicide. Victim did not die and the ingredients of offence under section 306 IPC (108 BNS 2023) are not disclosed.

4. Under such circumstances, we are inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

5. Accordingly, we direct that in the event of arrest, the petitioners shall be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs. 10,000/- each with two sureties of like amount each, to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer and also subject to the conditions as laid down under section 482(2) of BNSS 2023.

6. Petitioners shall appear before the jurisdictional court and pray for regular bail within four weeks from date.
