It appears from the report and is also submitted by the learned counsels for the petitioners and the private opposite party that the dispute has been amicably settled between the parties and the private opposite party does not intend to proceed with the matter any further. In view of the above, this Court is inclined to hold that allowing the proceeding to continue shall be a futile exercise. The proceeding being G.R. case no. 2204 of 2024 pending before the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Barasat, North 24 Parganas be quashed.

The petitioner nos. 2 and 3 are set at liberty at once and discharged from their bail bonds.

CRR 5077 of 2024 and the application being CRAN 1 of 2024 are disposed of.
