Bhattacharyya ... for the State-respondent(s) Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is similarly placed with one Kundan Kumar who has been granted bail in CRM (NDPS) 1551 of 2025. Learned advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail but is unable to distinguish the parity. Having considered that the petitioner is similarly situated with the other person who has been granted bail, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Hence, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is Allowed.

Accordingly, the petitioner viz, Dharmendra Kumar shall be released on bail upon furnishing bond of Rs.20,000/-(Rupees Twenty Thousand only), with two sureties of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) each, one of whom must be local, to the satisfaction of the learned

Additional Dist. & Sessions Judge, 3rd Court (Spl. Judge NDPS Act), Howrah.

If on bail, the petitioner shall be physically present on each and every date of the trial so fixed by the learned trial court and shall not leave the jurisdiction of Howrah without prior permission of the learned Trial Court/Special Court Accordingly, CRM(NDPS) 1624 of 2025 is allowed.
